A Holy Connection to the Entirety of Nature

A few other words for holistic are whole or holy meaning a connection to the entirety of nature.  As embodied sentient beings made up of the natural elements—we experience life and our macrocosmic connection to all as one.  This living holistically concept takes into account the microcosm of the body as it pertains to the whole of existence and works with the innate abilities to regenerate.  It remembers the parts of us that may have been dismembered or malnourished and invites a more balanced and lasting fulfillment.

You are your best teacher and holistic practitioner.  At the end of the day, we have all been predisposed to conditions and experiences that have in one way or another affected our overall health.  Because of this we can continue to inspire, share, question, and reflect on both innovative discoveries and traditional remedies that not only support homeostasis within our body, but that support and respect the homeostasis of the planet as a whole and everyone’s unique constitution.  What works for one person, may not work for another and that is okay.

Holistic Elemental Exploration

A holistic consultation with Mādhava Unite is guided by an elemental exploration into how earth, water, fire, air, and ether influence us.  These elements are found in our food, hydration, exercise, environment, and sleep patterns and play pivotal roles in overall health.  When one elemental aspect is affected another compensates to balance.  Inquiries into how we receive, assimilate, and excrete nourishment is a life long journey as we continue to grow and evolve over time.  Sharing resourceful information while keeping the dialogue open and respectful lies at the core of every consultation.

As Above, So Below

Medical astrology is weaved in some degree with every Mādhava Unite consultation.  The medical practice never really died.  In the West, renegade physicians continued to practice, albeit underground, right on through to our present era and up until the sixteenth century, a physician had to pass his exams in this subject.  At the University of Bologna, a four year course in astrology was completed by aspiring physicians and Cecco d’Ascoli, a lecturer at the University of Bologna in the early fourteenth century wrote;

“A Doctor must of necessity know and take into account the natures of the stars and their conjunctions…”

Interestingly enough, there are considerable remnants of astrology’s status in medicine over the ages in our current medical symbols such as with the pharmaceutical Rx sign which means “radix,” an older term for astrological natal chart.  During the medieval period a prescribing physician would place this mark on the client’s prescription to indicate “I’ve seen the horoscope.”  And yet, the very staff of Mercury’s caduceus is still the symbol for the medical profession.  So what we come to find is every planet as an archetypal celestial being influences specific elements and qualities found not only outside of us, but within.

Sending space ships to the Moon, Mars, and other celestial beings can be an exciting time as we advance in artificial intelligence and explore space, however what we can do is also explore these celestial beings within us as innate microcosmic expressions of the universal macrocosm. We can also learn to work with the forces at play to unite.

So, let’s embark on holistic journey together.
